I think, considering the scale above. One planet isn’t liable to make a difference. Difficult to imagine how a man can make a difference.
@all, If now, you multiply all those with the Time-Dimension. Locate yourself. Your Start, Your life Span, Your End. Feel like you exist? I bet not.

I do. Do understand that everything matters which is ironic because of the existance of anti-matter. Read more of quantum physics before making claims that people or hadrons are insignificant.

Yeh, we are really small, that’s why once a lecturer said “Ale rode pied du thym, met pendi”, it’s not to hang yourself on the thym but an analogy to show how small we are.
However, I agree to Shah that one man (person) can make a difference. Those people who have done lots of research and have created innovating stuffs, are really making a difference.
Maybe in physical size we are insignificant, but that does not really matter.

@Shah, Chaya , I still believe, on this scale, one man cannot make a difference. Physical size matters. It does. Really.

@chaya, the tale of the fourmi and the elephant was an analogy. Fourmi represents dimoune, and elephant represents some planet out there.
and the ratio has been decreased hell a lot!

The “fourmi noir” pesters us humans by invading our kitchen.
The human becomes stressed by the “fourmi noir” and gets wrinkles.
The human needs cosmetics to appear young again.
The human buys more cosmetics.
The cosmetics factory sends hunters to hunt whales to get their raw materials to meet the demand.
Therefore, we can conclude that the “fourmi noir” can actually make a difference to the life a whale. ^_^”
